Dear Forum,
Like many of us, you’re probably longing for a sunny, warm day and not a cold, overcast psuedo-winter in March. Luckily, we have devised the perfect plan for you.
On May 15th & 16th your dreams for warm weather, combined with cutting edge research from scholars across disciplines, and practitioners, on organizing, will come to fruition! Thanks to our lovely hosts at the University of Southern California’s Equity Research Institute, this year’s annual convening of the Organizing Forum will take place in sunny Los Angeles, CA.
But wait…there’s more!
By signing up to attend this year’s meeting you will receive the opportunity to be amongst a rich community dedicated to the study of organizing inside and outside of academia.
Now, you’re probably thinking “Ok, I’m sold…but do I really have the funds for another conference?”, but don’t you worry. The amazing team behind the Organizing Forum has got you covered! We have stipends (which will be paid as lump sum honoraria instead of reimbursements) available to help defray the costs of travel.
So my dear friends, it seems there’s nothing left to do except secure your spot by RSVPing using this form here. The deadline to sign up is March 24th, so we encourage you to do so ASAP!
As an extra treat, if you are a graduate student writing a dissertation tackling topics around political organizing and would like to be a part of a dissertation workshop panel, please email me directly: edenmelles@u.northwestern.edu
See you all in LA!
Best,
Eden + The Organizing Forum
